Serving the Armenian faithful across the UK and Ireland

Armenian Apostolic parishes flourish across the United Kingdom and Ireland, united under the Diocese and anchored by its London churches, St Sarkis Church and St Yeghiche Church. Rooted in the apostolic mission of Saints Thaddeus and Bartholomew and guided by Gregory the Illuminator, we are dedicated to sustaining the living faith, worship, and heritage of the Armenian Church.

Building on a long and enduring history—from the Armenian merchants of 19th-century Manchester to today’s vibrant communities—we foster worship, education, and service, uniting generations in a shared faith and identity across the UK and Ireland.

Our Parishes & Communities

The Diocese serves the Armenian faithful across the UK and Ireland through a network of historic parishes and mission communities, each playing a vital role in spiritual, cultural, and communal life. Together, these parishes form a united diocesan family, preserving the faith, language, and traditions of the Armenian Apostolic Church for present and future generations.

Diocesan Ministries & Organisations

From pastoral leadership and charitable stewardship to youth engagement and social fellowship, each ministry and organisation plays a vital role in fulfilling the Diocese’s mission to serve God and the Armenian people with dedication, compassion, and vision.

Diocesan Programmes

Our programmes are designed to deepen spiritual understanding, foster Christian fellowship, celebrate Armenian heritage, educate and inspire all generations, and extend the pastoral presence of the Church wherever Armenians live.

“I seek to strengthen our unity, foster ecumenical friendship, and bear faithful witness to Christ in today’s world.”

— Bishop Hovakim Manukyan
