On Easter Saturday, the Primate celebrated divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Church in Manchester. His Grace shared the good news of Christ’ glorious resurrection with the faithful and extended His blessings to the Armenians in Manchester and the neighbouring cities. Mr Araram Araratyan and Mr Hrachya Stepanyan from the Armenian Embassy in London also attended the service. Due to social distancing and COVID-19 restrictions many of community members followed the service online.
The Manchester Holy Trinity Church is the oldest Armenian Church in the United Kingdom. Due to the Pandemic, the 150th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the Church was postponed and will be celebrated next year.
