Episcopal Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Yeghiche Church in London

On Easter Sunday, the Primate celebrated Divine Liturgy at St. Yeghiche Church in London and delivered a message on the occasion of the Holy Easter. He presented the Resurrection as a lesson of the conquering of hatred, division and enmity through love and peace. “It is God’s willingness to renew and protect the creation through shedding the blood of his begotten Son on the cross and his triumph over death.  The testimonies of many Christian martyrs are evidence of this” said the Primate. He concluded his sermon saying that “it was not an event that happened in the historical past but perpetual action that is happening even today  by the means of the Holy Gospel”. He also invited youth and members of the community to not only be attendees of services and Church events but also participate in the life of the Church with their  active involvement in Church led initiatives.  There was also blessings of the Easter eggs and blessings from the Primate to the faithful. Due to restrictions and social distancing, many of the faithful chose to join the service online.
